Gordon Ching
I'm building Design Executive Council (DXC), the premier membership network for senior design and experience leaders at global enterprises and high-growth ventures. Through peer-driven intelligence, sourced from practitioners who've done the work themselves or leaders who've worked closely with design executives, our members navigate the toughest challenges of leading design at the executive and board level.
My work is built on a core belief: design leadership isn't just a practice for designers. It's a decision-making discipline that CEOs, boards, and business leaders can use directly to improve how their organizations perform. I spend my time finding the patterns in how the best design executives actually operate, then translating that knowledge for audiences inside and outside of design.
Beyond DXC, I practice Kyudo, the Japanese way of the bow, and draw on Zen philosophy, Eastern craft traditions, and the arts to advance how we think about the role of business and technology in improving human life.
